From the President-Elect

[PE Stephen wrote his first piece on 22 May abd the second, recently - Webmaster]
What makes a Rotarian a Rotarian?

You & I are Rotarians. Hum¡Kwhat makes us Rotarians? In response to an article on Kingspark News dated May 21, 2010, CP John mentioned that PE Stephen had asked some fundamental questions. I then asked myself what questions I had been asking in the past few months.

* Who are Kingsparicans?
* How are the Kingsparicans doing?
* What is our goal?
* How can we achieve our goal?
* What stage is Kingspark in the life cycle of a Rotary Club? (Forming/ Norming/ Conforming/ Performing/ Reforming)
* When were we really great as a Team and when were we great as individuals?
* Why do some members come regularly and why the others don't come?

You may have all the answers or you may not. You may be new to Rotary or you may know too much already. Well, I have been in the Rotary family for quite some time. I am now in a journey to find answers to a few questions. Let me start with "what makes a Rotarian a Rotarian?"

Visiting Sister Clubs

We have 6 members (with family total 11 people) from Kingspark to visit our sister club, Chung Yuan. The Welcome dinner was so much fun singing along with all the enthusiastic friends from Chung Yuan and Sathorn. And then the annual dinner was amazing. We then flew to Taitung early Sunday morning for fellowship and service. The project is not only meaningful to the primary school students, but also to the villagers in the surrounding area. Except the last day it was raining every day, but the Rotary spirit is high -- Joyous Service.
